Through Turning Point, individualized and flexible outpatient services, such as case management, individual resiliency training (skill teaching), psychotherapy, family support and education, supported employment and education, peer support, and coordination with medication management, are provided by an integrated team, including a psychiatrist, for up to two years. Families can be an integral part of the treatment team and are considered equal partners in treatment planning and delivery. Turning Point also has a monthly multi-family group, which provides knowledge about psychosis and related coping strategies on topics such as the causes of, treatment for and recovery from psychosis; shared decision-making; addressing stigma; considerations regarding disclosure; and success in education and employment.
